Terms of Use

These terms apply to the Facio app for iPhone and Android and the website at facio.sevynprism.com, made by Sevyn Prism, the app studio of Shreya Patle, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("Facio", "we", "us"). By using Facio you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Facio.

1. What Facio is

Facio asks questions, can check a photo on your phone, and suggests skincare and hair care ingredients and routines based on published dermatology research. The photo check is an estimate from colour and light in your photo and can be wrong. Facio does not sell products.

2. Not medical advice

Facio is for general information and cosmetic care only. It is not a medical device and does not replace a doctor, dermatologist or pharmacist. Do not ignore or delay professional advice because of something you read in Facio. Some suggested ingredients, such as minoxidil, are marked "Ask pharmacist": please speak to a pharmacist or doctor before using them, especially if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, take medicines or have a health condition. In an emergency, contact a doctor or emergency services straight away.

3. Using products safely

Everyone's skin and hair react differently. Patch test new products, introduce one at a time, follow the instructions on the label and stop using anything that causes irritation. You are responsible for the products you choose to buy and use.

4. Who can use Facio

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, use Facio with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

5. Brands and products

Facio may show products or brands in the future. Paid listings will be clearly marked as sponsored. We do not guarantee any product, and your purchase is between you and the seller.

6. Your information

Our Privacy Policy explains how Facio handles information. In short, your answers and photos stay on your device.

7. Fair use

Please do not misuse Facio, for example by trying to break, copy or resell it, or by using it to harm others. The Facio name, design, illustrations and content belong to Sevyn Prism.

8. Availability and changes

Facio is free and provided "as is". We work to keep it accurate and available but cannot promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. We may update, change or stop features at any time, and we may update these terms. If changes are important, we will tell you in the app.

9. Responsibility

To the extent the law allows, Facio, Sevyn Prism and Shreya Patle are not responsible for any loss, injury or reaction arising from using Facio or any product or ingredient it mentions. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under UAE consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, and the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction.
